E. Michael Regan, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Mental Performance Coach

Helping children, teens, and adults move forward with more clarity and confidence

Mike works with children, teens, and adults who are navigating challenges related to ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and the pressures of school, family, and everyday life. He helps individuals and families better understand what’s getting in the way and develop practical, effective ways to move forward.

Mike brings a wide range of experience to his work, including early career roles in residential treatment supporting children in long-term care, as well as extensive work in substance use treatment across inpatient, outpatient, and school-based settings. These experiences give him a deep understanding of how emotional and behavioral challenges develop—and how they impact both individuals and families over time.

In addition to his clinical work, Mike spent 10 years as a school administrator after many years providing school-based mental health services. This background allows him to see the bigger picture and support clients in navigating not just personal challenges, but also the systems around them.

Mike takes a strength-based, practical approach to therapy. He works collaboratively with clients to identify patterns, build on existing strengths, and develop healthier, more adaptive responses to life’s challenges. His approach is flexible and individualized, drawing from cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused strategies depending on what works best for each person.

As a former All-American distance runner and collegiate athlete, Mike also brings a unique perspective to his work as a Certified Mental Performance Mastery Coach. He works with athletes, teams, and high performers to strengthen focus, resilience, confidence, and performance under pressure—helping them succeed both on and off the field.
