Medication Management

Support for women navigating anxiety, overwhelm, pregnancy, postpartum, and life transitions.

Clear Water Counseling offers medication management in Old Saybrook, CT for women who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally stretched, or not quite like themselves. Medication management can be a helpful part of care during pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, perimenopause, menopause, and other seasons of change.

Medication support that looks at the whole person

Medication management can offer support when symptoms begin to affect your mood, relationships, sleep, daily functioning, or sense of self. For some women, medication can be one part of feeling more steady and supported while they continue the deeper work of therapy, healing, and adjusting to life changes.

At Clear Water Counseling, medication management is offered with attention to the full context of your life — your emotional health, physical changes, relationships, responsibilities, and the season you are in. Care is thoughtful, collaborative, and focused on helping you better understand what kind of support may be right for you.

Coordinated care when it

supports you

Medication management works best when care feels thoughtful, connected, and appropriate for your needs. At Clear Water Counseling, Stephanie currently provides medication management for women navigating anxiety, overwhelm, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and other life transitions.

When helpful, and with your permission, we can also collaborate with your therapist, primary care provider, OB/GYN, midwife, psychiatrist, or other provider involved in your care. If your needs fall outside the scope of what we provide in-house, we can help you think through next steps and offer recommendations for additional support.

Medication management does not have to replace therapy. For many clients, it works alongside therapy to provide added support, steadiness, and care during a difficult or changing season.
