Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Helping children, teens, adults, and couples find their footing again
Maureen works with children, teens, adults, and couples who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling to find balance in their daily lives. She has particular experience supporting children and preteens, offering a calm, supportive space for kids and families navigating emotional, behavioral, school, or relationship challenges.
With over 25 years of experience, including work in both public schools and outpatient settings, Maureen has a deep understanding of how stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, school avoidance, and family struggles can show up across different stages of life. She helps clients of all ages build healthier coping skills, strengthen relationships, and move toward greater stability and confidence.
Maureen’s approach is warm, practical, and focused on real-life growth. She works with children and teens on emotional regulation, routines, and coping skills, while also supporting adults through anxiety, depression, life stress, and relationship challenges. She also works with couples and draws from Gottman Method principles to support stronger communication and connection.
She incorporates DBT-informed strategies to help clients better manage emotions, respond more effectively to difficult situations, and create positive change over time.

Maureen accepts Husky/Medicaid insurance and is out of network with all commercial insurance plans. For clients with commercial insurance, sessions are self-pay and payment is due at the time of service. If requested, we can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Because reimbursement depends on your individual plan, we recommend checking directly with your insurance provider to understand your out-of-network benefits.
